Being stuck inside all day has resorted to a lot of online shopping. Am I the only one or have you been doing that too?! ha. There are SO MANY great sales going on since the economy isn’t doing so hot and I’ve invested in a few new pieces that I thought I would share with you all today.
I miss getting dressed up on the daily, taking outfit photos, and basically going out in general. Chicago is still on lockdown mode so for now I’ve resorted to mirror selfies. Hopefully I’m able to show off the products well.
I’ve stocked up on a lot of sweatshirts, some cute tops, a few pairs of shoes and some gold hoop earrings from AU-rate. They have the prettiest jewelry. I’ve gotten a few of their pieces over the years and have loved every one of them. I have a few of their earrings including this pair and this pair. Besides earrings, Au-rate has pretty bracelets, necklaces, and rings. You guys should really check them out!

Let’s break everything down…
1. PINK PUFF SLEEVE SWEATSHIRT
I’ve never met a puff sleeved sweatshirt that I didn’t like so I’m adding this one to the list. It’s super soft and has a mock turtleneck vibe going on that’s hard to see in my selfie. I got it on super sale and am a huge fan of Gap when it comes to sweatshirts. Shop a few more of their sweatshirts here.
2. ANINE BING SWEATSHIRT
You might be seeing a sweatshirt trend going on and that’s because cozy is key when in quarantine. I’ve been eyeing this brand for awhile now and finally got this sweatshirt during a recent SHOPBOP sale. It’s super comfortable and I sized up to medium to get that oversized look. I plan on pairing it with jeans and sneakers.

3. WHITE EYELET TOP
When it comes to white tops, I gravitate towards inexpensive ones since I have a 3.5 year old. This one is only $24 and comes in yellow and lilac too. It runs a bit on the large size (as do most things from Target) so I went with a small. I especially loves the puff sleeved shoulders and eyelet detail. This is the perfect top for summer!
4. LEOPARD SNEAKERS
I technically got these right before quarantine started, but had to add them to this post. I personally find them to be super comfortable and I love the leopard and silver combo. I added them to last week’s post on affordable Golden Goose sneaker dupes. The brand is P448 (also sold here) and they have a lot of fun styles at a fraction of the price of GG sneakers.
5. PINK MULES
Aren’t these fun!? They look a lot like the Gucci ones, but are only $50! They come in a bunch of colors and are super comfortable. I would say they run true to size so either get your regular size or if you are a half size, then size up. They look great with jeans.
6. EMBROIDERED DRESS
Last summer I got this dress (seen in this post) and have loved it so much that I thought I would get another color. It’s super comfortable and comes in a bunch of fun prints. As far as sizing, it runs a bit small in the chest area so I would recommend going up one size. I went with a medium for reference. This is the perfect dress to just throw on when you feel like you have nothing to wear. It’s easy to dress up or down depending on what you’ve got planned.
7. MICKEY MOUSE GG SWEATSHIRT
I first saw this on my friend Devin via Instagram and thought it was super cute. It also comes in pink or cream too and is from a shop on Etsy where they make a t-shirt versions of it too. It’s only $40 and another cute sweatshirt to add to the mix.

8. TIE DYE HOODIE
I shared this awhile ago on Instagram, but had to share it again. It is comfortable and cute. As we all know, I’m a huge fan when it comes to the tie dye trend and this hoddie is currently on super sale for only $33. I sized up to a medium to give it that oversized fit. Who knew Kohl’s had such cute stuff?!
9. TIE DYE SWEATER
This tie dye sweater also comes in navy and is currently on sale for only $25. It’s lightweight, making it the perfect sweater for spring and summer. It goes along with the tie dye trend, but in a more subtle way. Total winner.
10. WHITE CONVERSE SNEAKERS
Every year I like to get a white pair of sneakers for summer. This pair from Converse are super affordable and cute. They are also easy to clean (just throw them on the laundry machine) and go with everything. They’re only $50 and in my mind always trending. Just throw on a pair of no show socks and your favorite denim shorts or dress and you’ve got yourself a lewk.
11. PINK TIE DRESS
Isn’t this dress fun?! It reminds me of a knock of the brand Rhode. Their dresses are $400 and this was only $50. They don’t have my pattern anymore, but instead this pink one and this red floral pattern which are both still pretty cute. I personally feel that you can never have too many summer dresses.
12. SCALLOPED SANDALS
When it comes to sandals, I’m all about the block heel. These are super comfortable and on sale! They also come in a tan color and are the perfect sandal for spring and summer. Black goes great with everything so I plan on pairing these with distressed denim, white jeans, and dresses all summer long.
