THE PERFECT TRENCH FOR SPRING

Temperatures are finally rising slightly here in Chicago and spring is on the horizon. With that said, it’s time to hopefully break out those lighter spring jackets. Everyone needs at least one trench coat in their closet and this one from Ann Taylor is the perfect staple piece for spring.

Ann Taylor has been a favorite of mine for awhile now. They have not only amazing workwear, but also cute and classic pieces for spring. I love that they have a petite shop (I’m only 5’3″) and their new arrivals are so fresh and fun. I’m especially loving their dresses, tops, and let’s not forget their shoes!

TWO TONE BELTED TRENCH COAT

I personally love this trench coat because you get a mix of the classic tailored fit with a few funky touches. The two-toned collar adds a modern touch that’s both sophisticated and chic. Lastly the belt adds a little structure to the fit. Ann Taylor knows how to make a great jacket and this trench is perfect not only for work, but also for running around doing errands, or even brunch with friends. I would say that it runs true to size and I’m wearing a size small.

SUPER SKINNY JEGGINGS

I absolutely LOVE these jeggings. They’re basically jean leggings and extremely comfortable and flattering. Honestly for only $30, you really can’t go wrong. I have a few different styles and love every pair! If you don’t know, now you know 😉 .

LEOPARD SNEAKERS

My latest obsession has to be P448 Sneakers. They’re a lot cheaper than Golden Goose and just as cute! They have so many different patterns and styles to choose from too. Not only are they adorable, but they are extremely comfortable too! They are a great everyday sneaker and elevate any look. BLACK TURTLENECK SWEATER

You can never go wrong with a black turtleneck sweater. This one is lightweight and comes in a bunch of different colors. It’s currently on sale for only $35 and a must-have for spring. It’s easy, effortless and adds a sophisticated touch.
