Sadly summer has come to an end and fall is officially in full swing. You don’t have to put away all your summer dresses just yet. Today I’m sharing four easy ways you can tweak your style so that you can easily transition those summer dresses into fall.

In today’s post I’m wearing the infamous Amazon “nightgown” (seen here) that has been trending all summer. If you have no idea what I’m talking about, then you can read more about it in this article and this article.

I LOVE it not only for the price (only $26!), but because it’s super comfortable so I’m not really ready to retire it to the closet for the season. For summer I paired it with some gold sandals, a straw tote (on sale HERE), and of course a headband. To keep it fresh for fall, I plan to follow a few of my tips below:

1. ADD SOME BOOTS OR BOOTIES

Switching up your footwear always adds a quick fix. Get rid of the sandals and instead style your dress with a cute boot or bootie. There are so many cute styles for fall so I rounded up a dew favorites below:

Give me all the faux fur please! You can add a faux fur vest to add a touch of that autumn feel. It not only will keep you warm, but will add a chic layer to your look. Shop some styles I’m loving for fall:

Since temperatures are getting cooler, make sure to grab a jacket. Not only will it keep you warm, but will also easily transition your summer dress into fall. Any style will do, but a few that come to mind include anything suede, leather (or faux), bomber, or faux fur. Here are some favorites:

4. PAIR WITH A FALL HANDBAG

A handbag can really make all the difference. Reach for something that is darker and gives off more of a fall vibe. Think anything black, burgundy, forrest green, or animal print. Lately I have been seeing lots of leopard and snakeskin, which works perfectly with the trends. See some cute ones below:
