Happy Monday friends! Today I’m sharing the cutest maxi dress that recently has been added to my closet. I plan on wearing this dress to a rehearsal dinner I have coming up as well as an end of the summer soirée. Let’s break it down below:

FLORAL MAXI DRESS

Obviously I’m starting with the star of the show. As we all know I’m a huge fan of maxi dresses as well as florals so when I saw this print, I knew I had to have it. It’s from the brand Amanda Uprichard and I recently featured another one of their dresses in this post a few weeks ago.

I find the print to be super fun and festive! I also love the sleeve details and layering look. I want to note that I am 5’3″ and did in fact get it shortened. I prefer lower heeled shoes because they’re easier to walk in so I knew I wanted to make sure it was the right length and not dragging.

BLOCK HEELED SANDALS

These have been a favorite summer sandal for many years. I love the low block heel style, making them extremely comfortable and easy to walk in. I also always love wearing a bit of a heel with a maxi because it makes you look taller and skinnier. Since these are a few years old, I was able to find some similar styles here, here, here + here. BAMBOO HANDBAG

Yes. I know. I wear this handbag quite a lot here on the blog, but it’s just so darn cute! It’s only $40 and the neutral color goes with everything. SUNGLASSES

These sunnies are a classic and help make any outfit stand out. I love the oversized round frames and have them in black too because they’re never going out of style. They’re a bit pricey, but well worth it because you’ll be wearing them all the time. SHOP MORE KAREN WALKER SUNNIES HERE.
