Happy summer friends! This past month there have been lots of outdoor parties and rosé drinking to celebrate the warmer weather. We’ve also had fun hanging at the pool, zoo, beach, and a few parks around the neighborhood.
Today I’m sharing a new Life Lately post to catch you up on what I’ve been up to this past month. I pull a lot of my pictures from my Instagram and Instagram Stories so make sure to follow along.
Elle and I were invited to a cooking class at the American Girl Store on Michigan Ave. She had a blast hanging out with all the older girls and testing the ingredients of the recipes. They have a few classes going on this summer as well as other fun activities held at the store.
My friend Monica and I tried out the new brunch menu at Streeterville Social. They have a lot of tasty selections on their brunch menu including avocado toast and this king crab benedict. See the full menu here.
We celebrated Father’s Day with a big family dinner at RL Restaurant. Elle is officially a walker now and always on the move.
We spent some time at the Lincoln Park Zoo which is always a summertime favorite.
Elle got the cutest package from YOTTOY. They gave her a Corduroy and Velveteen Rabbit each with a matching book. These make great gifts and their website has a huge selection of different characters to choose from.
My friend Jamie and I attended a White Party at Devereaux which is the new rooftop at the Viceroy Hotel. It’s the perfect place to hang out on weekends and summer nights! They’ve even got a pool 😉 .
My friend Peggy and I checked out the new menu at Eight Bar. It’s the more casual downstairs bar of Maple & Ash. They have a great outdoor patio and their food is pretty fab too. See the full menu here.
