Summer is officially here and there’s a lot more time being spent outside. Lately we have been taking trips to the zoo, walking along the lakefront, and playing at the park. Today Elle has teamed up with buybuy Baby to share a few of her summer favorites..

OUTDOOR BLANKET
Even if you don’t have a kid, you should totally get one of these! They’re the best and we use ours all summer long. They’re great for picnics, outdoor music, and playing outside. They are machine washable and easy to fold up and take along on an adventure. It’s made of a thick material, cute patterns, and is water repellent.
SUNSCREEN
During the summertime we always like to put sunscreen on Elle, especially when we know we are going to be outside for long periods of time. Our three favorite brands currently include thinkbaby, Blue Lizard, and Badger. They all come in varying SPFs so depending on what we are doing, we switch off.
SNACK CONTAINER
Currently these are our favorite snack containers. They’re the perfect solution for keeping snacks packed and they come in a bunch of different cute colors + patterns. They feature a soft flap, making it easy to grab without spilling. We love taking these with us where ever we go.
BUBBLES
I’m assuming all kids love bubbles so these make a great addition for the park. These are perfect because you don’t even need to blow because the machine does everything for you! Just press the button on the front and the endless bubbles start blowing from the fun, rotating wands. We are also big fans of these wands because they’re smaller in size and great for on the go. They use a stain and dye-free solution so it’s super safe.
PINK CRUISER CAR
If you follow me on Instagram Stories then you might have already seen Elle’s new ride. To say she is obsessed is an understatement. Elle totally love this thing and we cruise around in it multiple times a week. It’s a great transportation system for short rides to the park and features a working horn, movable steering wheel, cup holders, and under-seat storage. It obviously comes in blue too and is the perfect summer accessory. Also, the handle folds up underneath for easy storage during the winter or if you want to bring it along in your car.
WATER BOTTLE
Elle has a few different sippy cups she uses, but currently we are loving this one. It’s insulated and able to keep liquids cold for up to 24 hours which is great for summer hot days. We are also big fans of the weighted straw cups like these.
