A few months ago I shared with you my morning routine so today I wanted to give you a little insight into what my nighttime routine looks like. Since having a baby, it has changed a bit, and things are definitely a lot more mellow and quieter in our home past 7PM. This new change is a good thing and gives me more time to focus on my beauty routine. I’m also going to share a few products that I absolutely love and explain why you will need them in your life too.
So let’s get started…
7PM // PUT BABY TO BED
We are pretty strict about our daughter’s nighttime routine {you can read all about how we went about sleep training her here}. She goes to bed at 7PM EVERY night. This usually consists of reading some books on the couch, bath time, bottle, and then bed.
7PM-9PM // HANG OUT WITH HUSBAND
Once our daughter goes to bed, we have a bit of alone time to hang out and talk about our day. Sometimes we cook dinner or watch television. Also sometimes I catch up on emails or blog work too. It always just depends on our schedules and what’s going on that night.
9PM // FACE MASK TIME
Once 9PM hits, I get a bit tired and begin my bedtime beauty routine. I like to take care of my skin and keep it hydrated {especially in the colder months when the air is much dryer}. I’m a HUGE fan of face masks because they help keep my skin refreshed and vibrant. I try to do them 2-3 times a week and my new favorite one is this. I also sometimes like using this one and lately I’ve been getting into sheet masks too and am liking this one.
9:30PM // WASH MY FACE
After a mask, I wash my face and pat it dry with a hand towel. Since I have sensitive skin, I like to use a mild sensitive fragrance free soap. I’m currently a huge fan of this bar soap and this face wash.
9:40PM // MOISTURIZE
Next I apply moisturizer to my face. I am currently using this one on not only my face, but also my body too. I use the unscented version, but there are few different flavors you can try!
9:45PM // BRUSH MY TEETH
After my face, I move onto my teeth. Since I love my coffee, I am all about whitening and what has been working great lately is Crest 3D White Whitening Therapy Toothpaste. I am honestly OBSESSED. The collection has two pastes, sensitivity care {my personal favorite} and enamel care. Each toothpaste not only beautifully whitens from day one, but also nourishes teeth to strengthen enamel. Sensitive Care has added potassium nitrate to help soothe sensitivity pain. It was created in partnership with dental professionals and scientists, and is formulated with an Active Mineral Complex that helps replenish, gently remove stains, and leaves teeth feeling fresh and clean after each use. I’ve always been a fan of their white strips, so having a toothpaste is a great addition.
10PM // LIGHTS OUT
Around 10PM I am pretty tired from the day and ready to hit the pillow. I put on my pajamas, might check my email one last time, and then it’s lights out for me.
So as you can see, my nighttime routine is pretty calm. After putting my daughter to bed, I hang out with my husband a bit and then focus on my beauty routine. What does your nighttime routine look like? I would love to hear!

I’ve noticed my routine improve now that we have a baby as well. It forces you to stick to a nighttime schedule, but it’s nice to have some adult or me time after she goes to bed <3

You have a solid nighttime routine! It’s nice that you’re able to get in some “me” time after you put the babe to sleep.
Great review! I wanted to try Crest sensitivity care too. I’ll have to check this out!

I think it is important to have a good daytime and nighttime routine. Even if it is a bit flexible, that’s all the better! 🙂 XO – Alexandra

I will have to try one of those masks since I struggle with dry skin once the weather changes. I am also totally trying that toothpaste. Lately my teeth have been more sensitive and I can’t use my regular toothpaste. Thank you for sharing! 🙂
Sounds like an amazing routine! Hope you are having a lovely day!
