Easy Spanakopita Triangles



  1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees.
  2. Saute the onion and garlic in a skillet over medium heat. Then add the spinach and cook for a few minutes until all the water evaporates.
  3. Lightly beat the egg in a medium size mixing bowl. Add the feta cheese, salt, pepper, and spinach mixture. Mix well.
  4. Remove the phyllo sheets from the package and place on a damp cooking towel.
  5. Brush each sheet lightly with butter and cutting four pieces.
  6. Place a big tablespoon of the filling in one corner and fold it diagonally. Keep folding until you reach the end of the strip and then tuck in the end.
  7. Place the triangles on a cookie sheet. Brush the tops each with any remaining butter.
  8. Bake at 375 degrees for about 15 minutes or until golden brown.
