A few weeks ago we had so much fun visiting The American Girl Store located at Water Tower Place. They recently revamped the one in downtown Chicago and added so many fun activities for kids.

THE DOLLED UP SALON

We made sure to stop by the Dolled Up Salon where my daughter and her doll got to choose matching looks from a huge menu of hairstyles. Every style includes a choice of two ribbon colors and our amazing stylist even shared tips for creating great hairstyles at home.

Next they both got manicures at the Nail Salon. There were so many colors to choose from including glitter nail art. My daughter’s doll got her fingers and toes painted, along with her very own nail polish bottle to take home.

 

Pricing varies depending on the service. For dolls hairstyles range $10-$25 and manicures are $5. For girls hairstyles range $30-$40 and manicures are $15. They also have ear piercing too!

This is the perfect activity for a birthday, celebration, girls day out, or just a casual shopping day with friends. Make sure to make a reservation online because they fill up fast!

 

Another fun place to stop by is The Cafe. It’s great for both lunch and dinner. They offer different menus for brunch, afternoon tea, lunch and dinner. You can take a look at their menu here.
