MY 4 FAVORITE WINTER BOOT BRANDS

*Shop this exact pair on SALE here.

When it comes to winter boots, now is the time to shop. It’s finally snowing non stop and everything is on sale. I’m all about style as well as functionality, and obviously waterproof is key (because…snow…). Today I’m breaking down my four favorite brands as well as sizing info and my favorite current styles. Most are on sale, but unfortunately a few aren’t. Let’s get started.

1. SPERRY

First up is Sperry. They’ve been a long time favorite of mine for awhile now because of their durability. Their duck boot style really holds up in the snow well, and they’re pretty cute too. They come in a few different height variations as well as lots of color combos. When it comes to sizing, I like to go up a half size personally. This is especially important if you plan on wearing thick warm socks with them. I’m a 6.5 and usually get a 7 in Sperry.

Sperry is great for guys too! My husband has this exact pair (loves them and currently ON SALE). He is also very into their boating shoes too. So many styles are currently on major sale. Shop my favorites below:

2. UGG AUSTRALIA

Ugg is a classic when it comes to winter boots. They are not only super cozy, but also oh so warm. The brand has been around for awhile and I had a minor obsession back in the day. In my personal opinion, they are currently trending again, and warmer than ever. I especially LOVE this black pair I recently purchased as well as these classic mini II that I got in the color chestnut. I would say that Ugg is pretty true to size so I’ll usually get a size 6. These go on sale less of the time (usually some random colors do), so I’m sharing a mix of sale and non sale options below:

3. MOON BOOTS

Last week I took a poll on Instagram and asked if you guys thought these were fabulous or ridiculous. There were A LOT of votes and it ended up being pretty close down the middle. This style isn’t for everyone, but they do defiantly make a statement. Moon Boots are  super cozy and perfect for that trip to Aspen or Vail you might have coming up. The price point isn’t bad at all and they come in a bunch of different colors as well as more low key styles. As far as sizing, they come in a range. I’m a 6.5 and went with the 35/38. 4. SOREL

Sorel is another great brand when it comes to durability. These can really handle the snow well and the perfect pair for Chicago winters. I got my one and only pair a few years ago and they are still going strong. I like to break these out during those horrible wintry mixes because I know they can handle it and won’t get ruined (unlink my Uggs that I like to really only wear during colder temps once the snow has been shoveled). I would say these run true to size, but depending on the thickness of sock you will want to wear with them, you might want to size up. Shop my favorites below:
