If you follow me on Instagram, then you saw that last week my family and I took a trip to Lake Geneva, Wisconsin. We were lucky enough to spend 2 nights in one of the villas at Grand Geneva Resort & Spa. They have so many amazing amenities, restaurants, and activities that we didn’t even leave the property.
Today I’m sharing photos from our trip as well as highlighting what’s available at this magnificent resort:
THE VILLAS
As I mentioned above, we stayed in a one bedroom villa. There was ample space, making it perfect for families and groups of friends. All villas include private bedrooms, a full kitchen, living room, in-unit washer/dryer, and a furnished outdoor sitting area. Besides all the space, villa guests have access to their own private pool, fire pits, and grills.
The kitchen is fully equipped with dishes, a coffee maker, silverware, dishwasher etc. so it’s easy to make breakfast, lunch, or dinner. We took advantage of the grills outside one night and decided to cook dinner. Also, having a kitchen with kids is a real life saver.
They even have a service where you can order groceries to be delivered right to your door. Lastly, you also have full access to the main resort with another pool as well as lots of restaurant options that I will go into more detail about below.
Besides villas, they also offer hotel rooms in the main lodge of various sizes. Check out all the options here.
THE AMENITIES
Grand Geneva has a wide range of amenities throughout the property. A few of the ones that we took advantage of include:
Grand Geneva actually has a few pools on property including the main lodge outdoor pool that is open seasonally, a year round indoor pool, the indoor Well Spa lap pool, as well as the private villa pool (where we spent most of our days).
Also located on property and just a short trolley ride away is the Timber Ridge Lodge Indoor/Outdoor Waterpark. We didn’t have a chance to check it out this time around, but would love to do so next time we visit. It looks like a lot of fun for kids!
They actually have 2 18-hole golf courses located on property. The Brute, which is rated one of the best in the Midwest, and The Highlands. My husband took advantage of this and got to play golf while we were there.
- THE PLAYGROUND
If you have kids then you will be please to know that they have their own playground on the grounds. Elle had a blast playing on it and making new friends. It was located very close to our villa and just a short walk away.
Some other amenities include the WELL Spa & Salon, a fitness center, Adventure Center which has outdoor activity rentals, The Mountain Top ski and snowboard hill, shopping, and so much more. It’s such a vast property and is actually easy to get around thanks to their free trolley transportation (that your kids will love!).
THE RESTAURANTS

We had dinner here our second night. It’s very kid friendly and they even have a 3 course kids menu as well as coloring. It also has a pretty view of the grounds including a fountain and golf course. They have great seafood, steak, and amazing cocktails too! See what we ordered below:
My daughter and I had lunch here during our stay. It is one of their more casual restaurants that serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner. It is also kid friendly and Elle LOVED their macaroni and cheese. I had their fish tacos which were also fab!
THE GENEVA CLUB LOUNGE
This time we had our stay upgraded with access to the Geneva Club. This elevated experience includes a full breakfast buffet, snacks, hors d’oeuvres, as well as happy hour priced beer, wine, and cocktails throughout the day. They also have televisions, wi-fi, printers, and workstations for individuals and small groups.
The Geneva Club combines comfort and exclusivity with personalized service and attention to detail from their Club Concierge. It’s included with all of their suites or can be added as an enhancement to any guest room for a flat rate fee, per room, per night. We personally loved this experience and took full advantage of the breakfast, snacks, and happy hour.
