How is it already almost July!? I feel like summer hasn’t really even started yet, and that’s probably because it’s been so cold here in Chicago. Even though the weather hasn’t been great, we’ve still been having fun.
This past month we tried a few new restaurants, celebrated Father’s Day and my dad’s 70th birthday, and Elle started camp! I thought she would be sad to leave me, but is having so much fun!

Starting with some tacos from The Gringo. They have the cutest outdoor patio too that’s super kid friendly. Earlier this week I wrote a whole post on my favorite kid friendly patios in Chicago. Read it here.
Another favorite spot of ours is Urban Belly in Wicker park. They also have a great patio and the cutest mural where we took these photos.
