THE PERFECT LEOPARD MAXI DRESS FOR SPRING

You know it’s spring in Chicago when the tulips sprout down Michigan Ave. They don’t last long, so I jumped at the chance to snap some photos in front of them last weekend. I decided to wear a new leopard dress of mine that’s perfect for transitional springtime temps. Let’s break it down below:

LEOPARD DRESS

Isn’t this dress fabulous!? I’ve been eyeing it for awhile, but had a hard time tracking down my size. It’s quite popular and comes in a few different similar styles here + here. I’m actually a huge fan of this brand called GANNI. Have you heard of them?! They have so many cute dresses and tops. This dress is super comfortable and a bit on the stretchy side. It can easily be dresses up with sandals {as seen below} or more casual with sneakers. I always have a hard time finding cute maxi dresses {maybe because I’m 5’3″} and this one is real winner! FAUX LEATHER JACKET

I realize I wore this faux leather jacket last week on the blog, but honestly it’s the best light weight jacket for spring. I’m a huge fan of BLANKNYC because they’re jackets always have great structure. This exact one has a removable hood and comes in 3 different colors. LACE-UP SANDALS

I’m horrible when it comes to walking in heels so I’m all about a block heel when given the chance. It’s the perfect height for me personally, but also still elevates your look. TAKE OUT BAG

Isn’t this handbag the cutest?! It’s actually my friend Peggy’s, but she let me borrow it for the shoot. I thought it went perfectly with my leopard dress.
