These days when it comes to going out, I have a uniform I usually like to wear. Lately it has involved a cute top, faux leather jacket, booties, skinny jeans, and a clutch. My favorite place to shop all of these pieces currently is Nordstrom. They have such a wide variety of the latest trends, adorable styles, and of course affordable prices.

I love turning to Nordstrom for inspiration too! They have an entire Night Out section where you can get ideas for your next date night or dinner + dancing with friends. Today I’m sharing a look that I’ve been wearing out a lot recently. Let’s break it down:

FAUX LEATHER JACKET

Everyone needs to own a faux leather jacket and this one is fabulous! It’s a classic, but also has some edgy details. I love the quilted shoulders and zippered embellishments. It’s from the brand Topshop (which I happen to love) and currently on sale for only $52!

SEQUINED TOP

I’ve been a fan of the brand Something Navy for awhile now. I love sequins and this top perfect for going out. It’s not only comfortable, but also makes you sparkle. It runs a tad bit big (as a lot of the brand does) and I am wearing a size small. It’s also currently on sale for only $59,but keeps going in and out of stock so I found similar styles here and here.

SKINNY JEANS

These adorable high waisted skinny jeans are from the brand Wit & Wisdom. They’re the perfect shade of blue and feature a chic ankle-length hem. They’re also super stretchy, making them extremely comfortable and flattering. When it comes to the perfect pair of skinny jeans, these are it! Also they’re only only $78 so what more can you ask for?!

LEOPARD CLUTCH

I’ve been a huge fan of Clare V. handbags for awhile now and this leopard clutch is a classic. It pairs perfectly with everything and is a great going out accessory. I also almost always bring it on vacations with me since I find leopard to be a great neutral. It’s a bit on the pricey side so I was able to find an almost similar style made from the Nordstrom brand that you can shop here. Also this one is super cute too and under $50!

BLACK BOOTIES

These Nine West booties have the a fun sparkling, crystal-covered heel and a pointy-toe. I feel like the sparkle adds the perfect pop, making them a great going out bootie. They’re also super comfortable and perfect for dancing. They’re only $100 and run true to size.
