I’ve always loved the idea of a maxi dress, and they are the perfect go-to dress for summer. I’m 5’3″, which is kind of on the shorter side so it can sometimes be hard to always find ones with the right length. I usually gravitate towards maxi dresses that come in petite like the one I’m wearing today. Let’s break it down:

FLORAL MAXI DRESS

Obviously I’m starting with the star of the show which is this adorable maxi dress. I’m obsessed with the pretty colorful print as well as the fit and flare fit. I’m also a big fan of the fact that it comes in petite length, so no need to pay extra for shortening. This exact style comes in a few different patterns and is priced perfectly at under $100. DENIM JACKET

I’ve had this jacket for a very long time {maybe high school? like whoa…}, and absolutely love it. It’s super light weight, soft, and stretchy. ENVELOPE CLUTCH

Isn’t this handbag fabulous?! It’s currently on SALE for only $100! comes in a bunch of different colors and also sold here. My husband got it for me a few years ago and I’m obviously all about the hot pink. Gigi New York makes really cute handbags and I love the fact that you can get everything monogrammed, which is a fun little extra touch. BLOCK HEEL SANDALS

These have been a favorite summer sandal for many years. I love the low block heel style, making them extremely comfortable and easy to walk in. I always love wearing a bit of a heel with a maxi because it makes you look taller and skinnier. Since these are a few years old, I was able to find some similar styles here, here, here + here.
