MY FAVORITE STRIPED DRESS FOR SPRING

There’s no doubt about it. I love stripes! So when it comes to dresses, I find it’s an easy go-to pattern that’s approachable and perfect for the spring and summer season. Today I’m wearing a cute and casual outfit that’s perfect for any baby shower, wedding shower, cocktail hour, summer BBQ or if you’re feeling fancy…brunch with friends. Let’s break it down, shall we?

STRIPED TUNIC DRESS

I’m obviously starting with this dress. Isn’t it adorable? It’s actually a tunic, but because I’m only 5’3″, I can pull it off as a dress. Online it’s shown with white pants, so if you’re on the taller side then that’s a great alternative. I love the puffy sleeves that have a fun tie cuff detail. It also has a hi-lo hem and tie waist. It’s currently on MAJOR sale and not too expensive to begin with so I highly recommend you snag one soon before it sells out. It would look perfect for any Memorial Day or summer BBQs you’ve got lined up.

WEDGES

These are actually from last year, but they’re just so fabulous that they brought them back. I love a good tan shoe because I find that it easily goes with any outfit in your closet. These are a great height {I HATE super high shoes} and pretty easy to walk in. They’re also extremely comfortable and look great with short dresses and jeans. They also come in black and olive green and are currently on sale!

BAMBOO HANDBAG

I’ve actually worn this handbag before in this post. It’s a great Cult Gaia dupe and only $40. It was really popular with all the bloggers last year, but totally back in action for spring and summer. I love the neutral color so it’s easy to style with almost any outfit in your closet. The bamboo unusual shape makings it a great statement piece!

SUNGLASSES

These are an oldie, but a goodie. They have been around for awhile now and you can find them here. They look great with dresses and can easily elevate an outfit in no time, giving it that polished look.
