If you follow me on Instagram and watch my stories, then you probably saw that I had a pretty fun weekend. On Sunday, my husband and I took a helicopter ride across Chicago and it was honestly one of the most fun experiences I’ve ever done. You might be thinking “but I’m afraid of heights”, and I would say that I kind of am too, but I totally wasn’t scared at all.

We took a ride with the company Chicago Helicopter Experience and couldn’t be more pleased. The entire staff was extremely helpful in answering all questions I had, and we even got to go outside and take photos of us in front of the helicopter beforehand. We also watched a quick video with directions and it explained thoroughly what to expect with the experience.

The view from up above was AMAZING. Chicago is such a pretty city to begin with, but seeing it from this angle was unreal. Our captain pointing out all the different areas and monuments and the weather was beautiful {but still cold!} and sunny, making it the perfect day to fly. They even give tours at night, which also sounds like a lot of fun because of all the city lights.
