Since temperatures are always a bit cooler here in Chicago for spring, a sweater is a must. I’ve been finding a bunch this season that are super cute and the perfect layering piece. These photos were actually taken in February while we were vacationing in California. We spent two weeks out there traveling around to Newport Beach, Palm Springs, and Los Angeles.
Also Elle and my husband are making an appearance today too! Both my husband and dad helped take these photos. Aren’t they talented? Now let’s break down my outfit below…
As I stated above, I’m all about cute sweaters for spring. This one is definitely a keeper. It’s the perfect shade of heather grey and only $36. It’s easy to style and can be worn in the summer time too on chillier nights with white jeans.
Aren’t these jeans the cutest?! They’re super stretchy and extremely comfortable. Even better, they’re only $39. I love the bright dark wash too.
I always find that J.Crew makes the best t-shirts. This particular style comes in a bunch of different colors and for only $30 you may as well stock up. It’s the perfect basic t-shirt and I wear them on heavy rotation throughout the week.
I’ve had these mules for awhile now and I’m actually linking new version of them here. They’re very Gucci-ish, but at a fraction of the price. I find that mules are perfect for spring and transitional weather. They are also a great alternative to the ordinary flat. See other ways I’ve styled them in this post and this post.
GiGi New York makes the cutest clutches! This version comes in every color imaginable as well as a larger size too. You can get it monogrammed which is always fun and I love the little tassel detail as well as the texture. They’re great quality handbags and hold up for year!
I’ve had these Ray-Bans for awhile now and they honestly elevate every outfit. They’re the perfect classic pair of sunnies and a great go-to for vacations.
What is Elle wearing you ask?! Her favorite go-to brands include Gap, Ralph Lauren, and we love the shoe department at Nordstrom.
How about my husband? He’s also a fan of Ralph Lauren, as well as Levi jeans and fun finds at Trunk Club.
