I’m super excited for spring and a major reason for that includes the fashion surrounding it. I’m all about trends and today Elle and I are wearing gingham, which is a favorite this season. We’ve actually teamed up with JCPenney to share some styles we are currently loving. JCPenney has been a great go-to lately because of their great price points and variety of on-trend stylish pieces. They have everything you need for the whole family so it’s the perfect one stop shop for spring.

Let’s break down what we’re wearing:

OFF THE SHOULDER GINGHAM TOP

Gingham continues to rule everything from runway to street style. I’ve actually been a fan of this fun checked print for awhile now and even have worn it on the blog before in this post and this post. Today I’m wearing the most adorable top and it’s currently on sale for $17. It’s by the brand Belle + Sky {which is a new fave by the way} and I actually got the same shirt in a blue and white striped print too. I love the off the shoulder style and fun bell sleeves.

BLUSH SANDALS

I’m pairing my gingham top with some cute blush colored sandals that have fun pom pom details on the front and are beyond comfortable. They lace up easily and also come in black and taupe. I plan on wearing these in Chicago a lot once the weather warms up.

SKINNY JEANS

Lastly I’m wearing a pair of skinny jeans which are always a good idea. I usually gravitate towards a darker wash because I find them to be more flattering and the stretchier, the better. These are a bit old, but I found some similar styles here + here.

Now let’s talk about what Elle’s wearing…

GINGHAM BOW SLEEVE TOP

I always find it to be super fun to match with my daughter so when I saw this top, I knew we had to get it. I love the cute little bow details and it’s currently on sale for only $5. It will pair perfectly with jeans {pictured} as well as leggings and denim shorts. Don’t like gingham? No problem, it comes in a bunch of other patterns too!

CAT JEANS

Aren’t these adorable? Elle is such a fan when it comes to pants with animals on the knees. These are a new favorite pair and are currently on sale for only $10. We love the cat faces and can’t wait to style these with all of Elle’s new tops for spring.

CONVERSE SNEAKERS

Elle loves a good pair of sneakers and her current go-to brand is Converse. They make a bunch of cute styles as well as colors. Some other pairs we’re eyeing at the moment include these, these + these.

So as you can see, we are twinning in gingham today and are both excited for spring. We are both wearing JCPenney head to toe in adorable and affordable outfits. What we love most about JCPenney is that it provides fashion forward pieces and value for the whole family. Shopping at JCPenney is always worth your time, money, and effort with styles that are priced to buy and guaranteed to love.
