LIFE LATELY // FEBRUARY

Oh hey there March. How’s it going? Chicago was pretty cold this past month, but luckily we were able to spend a large chunk of it in California {more specifically Newport Beach, Palm Springs, and Los Angeles}.

I always find these monthly life lately posts to be extremely enjoyable to write. They are also a great way for me to show a more personal glimpse into my life. Today I’m sharing all about what I’ve been up to this past month including what I’ve bought, where I ate, and some fun things we did.

Even though February was short, we ended up doing a lot and I pulled pictures from my Instagram and Instagram Stories so make sure to follow along.

This month we celebrated Valentine’s Day and got a special treat sent to us from Fruit Bouquets. These chocolate strawberries were to die for and you see their whole menu here.

This month I shared Elle’s new play area with Room & Board. It was such a fun project to work on and we really love how it all turned out. You can see the full post here.

I finally got to check out Beatnik with some of my mom friends. The vibe and decor were amazing. I also heard that the have a great brunch so I’ll for sure be back.

This is what the majority of Chicago looked like during the beginning of the month. It was cold, snowy, and hard to leave the house.

A s’mores pizza that we had for dessert at Catch LA. Such a fun restaurant and an amazing outdoor deck.

We stayed at the Sofitel Los Angeles in Beverly Hills and this was the view from our room.

We took Elle to The Ivy in Beverly Hills and sat outside. She had a blast obviously.

Our family loves to snack and recently have become obsessed with Nature Box. Our current favorites include the white cheddar caramel popcorn and Elle loves their animal crackers.

I finally had the chance to try Au Cheval. I know right?! Where have I been… Anyways the burger was great and well worth the calories.

Last night I had the chance to participate in the Oak Street Fashion Show at the Thompson Hotel. It was a lot of fun and I wore St. John and Ted Baker. You can actually see me walking the runway on Insta Stories as we speak.

After the show! I’m wearing my second Ted Baker look and kind of obsessed with this jacket. Thanks to my friends Peggy and Monica for coming to support. Such a fun night!
