5 TYPES OF JACKETS YOU NEED FOR SPRING

Happy Monday guys! It’s almost March and that means SPRING! It doesn’t really get warm here in Chicago until probably around the end of June {ha!} so it’s best to invest in a few lightweight jackets to get you through these next few chilly months. I try to stick with a neutral color pallet as well as classic styles that can easily mix and match effortlessly with items you already have in your closet. I find that you need at least one from each of the following categories:

1. MOTO JACKET

2. CLASSIC TRENCH

3. WOOL OR WOOL BLEND

4. DENIM JACKET

5. BOMBER

If you have at least one of each listed above then you are good to go. The jacket I’m wearing in this post has been a great style for quite some time. As you all know, I love my leopard and this one works perfectly for both fall as well as spring so it gets a lot of use. You can shop it here and I found it for way less on final sale here.

Since it is still a bit chilly in Chicago, I paired my jacket with a classic black turtleneck sweater, some high waisted skinny jeans, and my favorite slip on mules {that are only $20!} and look exactly like the Gucci ones}. I’m also wearing a great everyday satchel that holds a ton and is perfect for work as well as weekend brunch with friends. They also make a mini version of it here.
