Elle’s first birthday party was such a success that I wanted to share all the details with you guys. First of all, I can’t believe I have a one year old now…seriously where has the time gone?! We decided to host Elle’s birthday party in my parent’s party room and had about 50 people. The space was perfect and we were lucky enough to have great weather that day so we could take advantage of the connecting outdoor deck.

We went with a Minnie Mouse theme and all the decorations were done by Limani Designs. I met with them before to go over my vision and to check out the space. Elle wanted lots of hot pink of course, polka dots, and scattered elements of Minnie Mouse around the room. Let’s just say they exceeded my expectations. Isn’t Elle’s birthday sign the cutest? I also loved the polka dot balloons, colorful tassels,  and fun Mickey and Minnie Mouse ears on all the tables for photos.

For the food we turned to Mariano’s who also did an amazing job with the catering. We served a variety of wrap sandwiches, chips, popcorn, a fruit platter, and a veggie + dip platter. They also made the cake which everyone was raving about and lots of people even went up for seconds. The ordering and delivery process was super simple and I will be for sure using them again in the future.

For entertainment we hired Tunes with Tim. He plays at Monica & Andy weekly and did an outstanding job. Tim played a variety of songs that were perfect for both the kids and adults.

The giveaway included a cookie bar on the way out. I ordered Minnie Mouse cookies through Etsy and even though they were a bit smaller than I expected, they were still festive and fun. Elle had the such an amazing time and I was so happy with how everything turned out. Check it out some photos below…
