EATING WITH ELLE

When Elle was almost 6 months old, I started introducing her to solid foods. To be honest, I wasn’t sure what she would think of the whole experience, but so far so good! At first I was all about making my own baby food from scratch, but I just never was able to get the right consistency and felt like so much of it went to waste. Then I learned about Little Harvest.

Thanks to Little Harvest, you don’t need to choose between convenience and quality. They make amazing organic homemade baby food with no preservatives, added sugar, salt, or artificial flavors. They work with a licensed Pediatric Nutritionist to help with the meal planning and menu items that rotate seasonally.

I also really love that Little Harvest is allergen-friendly. They don’t use any eggs, soy, dairy, nuts, or shellfish in any of their ingredients. I think Elle might have a dairy allergy so I’m a huge fan of this! I also love the fact that it is delivered fresh to your doorstep weekly {only in Illinois} with storage directions and super cute packaging.

Another great feature is the way the website works. You can customize your own box any way you like. The first week I tried the subscription box for the age of my baby. After seeing what Elle liked best, I was then able to customize it for the following week and pick and choose what I wanted her to eat. So far her absolute favorite has been the blueberry applesauce.

Little Harvest has a variety of different food plans depending on the age of your baby as well as a create your own option. The menu changes seasonally and You can learn more about the food journey here. ALSO you can get $20 OFF your first box by using the coupon code GOLDCOASTGIRL at checkout. If you live in the Chicago area and have a baby, I suggest you try it out. You and your baby will be very happy you did 😉 !

*This post is in partnership with Little Harvest. As always, all opinions are my own. Thank you for supporting brands that make GCG possible!

What a great find! I’m hoping to make baby food, but it’s good to know if I’m having a hard time with it that there are other options. 🙂 I know I say this every time she’s on the blog, but your daughter is so cute! She seems happy to be eating too- look at her hold that spoon!
