A PERFECTLY PLAID PONCHO

One downside about being pregnant is that I am ALWAYS hot and the 90 degree weather we have had all summer in Chicago has not been helping. I am so looking forward to fall, not only for the amazing fashion {my favorite!} but also for the cooler temperatures.

I’ve always been a huge fan of ponchos and find that they are the perfect accessory for any pregnant {or non pregnant} gal. They’re extremely comfortable and easy to style. You can just throw one on and instantly look chic. This one is only $16 and is from the website Zaful. They currently have so many cute sweaters for fall, all at affordable prices. This poncho is a new favorite of mine and I plan on wearing it all fall + winter long once the temperature drops.

I paired my plaid poncho with some maternity jeans from TopShop {by far my favorite when it comes to maternity jeans} and some slip on sneakers {old from the Gap, but similar styles here, here, and here}. Lastly I got on some classic Ray-Bans that go easily with any outfit. Have a great week everyone and let’s hope for some cooler weather soon 😉 .

I love all things plaid come fall and though I have quite a number of pieces in the pattern, I don’t have a poncho and now you’re making me want one, haha.
