As some of you might remember, in June we moved into our very first condo. My husband and I are super excited about being homeowners and have put a lot of effort into making it our own.
We have installed all new window treatments, repainted the entire place, and had the closets built out. Lastly, our most exciting change of all had to be renovating the master bathroom. Our contractor took the entire existing bathroom all the way down to the studs and rebuilt it from scratch. It was super fun {and stressful} picking out all the materials and designing it together.
Now that it is finally done, we have moved all of our stuff into the new bathroom and I have begun to work on the decor. I wanted something not only modern and clean, but also sophisticated and stylish. Since it is back-to-school season, we felt it was the perfect time to get motivated and organized.
One important thing that is a must in any bathroom is toilet paper of course. You want something that has long-lasting comfort and my toilet paper of choice is Quilted Northern®. What’s so great about this particular brand? Well you can forget to refill the roll for longer periods of time because there is 4X more the sheets and each mega roll is equivalent to 4 regular rolls.
I usually get my toilet paper at Target and always use my Cartwheel app. Make sure to add this Target Cartwheel offer to save on your next purchase of Quilted Norther Ultra Soft & Strong Mega Rolls.
Not only does Target have great products for your bathroom, but also so many accessories to help decorate it! I especially love all things Nate Burkus and Threshold. They have the cutest designs and honestly I want it ALL! With the help of Target and Quilted Northern®, I was able to find everything I needed to help make my new bathroom comfortable, stylish, and chic. Here are some decorating tips I used to helped give the bathroom a new + improved refreshed look:
TIPS ON DECORATING A BATHROOM:
1. STAY ORGANIZED
It is important to keep your bathroom clutter to a minimum. I always believe that there should be a place for everything. These vanity organizers are great for cabinet drawers. You can categorize everything so that things are neat and easy to find. Also storage bins, baskets, and countertop organizers can come in handy too.
2. CHOOSE THE RIGHT COLOR PALETTE
This can sometimes be a challenging one, but it is a super easy way to update the look of your bathroom. Look at the already existing colors in the bathroom and then find towels and accessories that compliment it. I was dealing with white as my base and felt that silvers and grays paired well. I then chose to add a few pops of color with the towels for a funky fresh look.
3. ACCESSORIZE
I’m a person that loves everything to match, but everyone is different. When you accessorize, work off your color palette and find pieces that go together. I was able to find a matching soap dish, soap dispenser, tissue box, and trash can that all paired well together and expressed the modern, clean vibe that I was going for. Remember that this is your space and you want it to feel like you, so find accessories you love and that go with your style.
4. GET CREATIVE
When updating your bathroom, you want to find pieces that are both stylish and functional. Everything you add to the space should have a purpose and you should display items you use frequently. There are so many fun baskets and canisters you can get to hold everyday bathroom items like q-tips and cotton balls. I was able to find Threshold glass apothecary canisters to place on the countertops. These were both practical and meshed well with my modern minimalist theme.
So last but not least…the big reveal! Let me know what you think guys. I tried really hard to photograph it so you could get a feel of the space, but our bathroom is a bit on the small side so it was quite the challenge…
Like what you see? Here is what I got at Target to help give my bathroom some style: Tissue Box Cover {sold in stores, similar style here}, Soap Dish, Soap Dispenser, Threshold Apothecary Canisters, Waste Basket {sold in stores, similar style here}, Threshold Bath Mat, Vanity Organizer {for the cabinet drawers}, and Missoni for Target Towels {old, similar styles here}. Also loving this Large Canister, Small Canister, and Soap Dispenser.

Your new bathroom looks stunning! Loving the countertops- are they marble? I’m wanting to change all the tops in my bathroom but it’s going to be over time. I think in the mean time I will just paint the cabinetry for a fresh, updated look. Loving the tips for sprucing up your bathroom space.

Hi Rina,
Thanks so much! The countertops are made of quartz. We heard it was a better material to use than marble because marble cracks. Hope this helps!
