Today I am talking all about confidence. Being a blogger can be a very vulnerable thing. You are constantly putting yourself out there for the world to judge. Luckily I have received positive feedback for the most part, but there can always be some harsh critics out there.
Now that I’m pregnant, things are even more challenging. Lately I find it harder and harder to put up outfit posts. I am not used to my growing size. Styling the bump isn’t as easy as I thought it would be and can be stressful at times.
What is most important is to stay true to yourself and be confident. I might not be the size 2 I used to be, but that’s okay. I need to stop putting pressure on myself so much and enjoy this miracle moment in my life. Something that has really helped me lately has been making sure that I’m actually comfortable in my clothes.
With the help of my Hanes Ultimate Comfy Support ComfortFlex Fit® Wire-free Bra and my Cool Comfort® Cotton Bikini Panties I’m able to stay both comfortable as well as confident. They are my secret weapon to to any date night, work day, or girls night out.
My Ultimate Comfy Support ComfortFlex Fit® Wire-free Bra is designed with a smart sizing fabric that takes the complication out of finding the perfect bra. It has a seamless design for a smooth, line-free silhouette and features a versatile style that makes this bra a great foundation for any look. It’s $34 and can be purchased here.
My Cool Comfort® Cotton Bikini Panties are made of soft, breathable cotton that comes preshrunk for a lasting fit. Their low rise elastic waist fits gently for all-day comfort. They cost $13 for a pack of six and you can visit Hanes.com for special offers and discounts.
Lately I have been feeling most confident in dresses. In my mind they are super flattering as well as extremely comfortable and perfect for these hot summer months. This dress is from Forever 21. It is currently sold out, but I found similar styles here, here, and here. I paired it with some gold sandals {similar here, here + here}, a bucket bag {similar styles here, here + here} and some sunnies.
What helps you stay confident? I would love to hear!

You look gorgeous, girl! I’ve been loving that bra from Hanes, too – so comfortable and perfect for summer.
Super cute! And look amazing and glowing! I can totally see how it would be stressful picking out clothes for a baby bump though. Hang in there! 🙂

Love this tunic dress!! It’s so pretty and I wish I had one for summer 🙂
What a cute dress! It does take a little time to get used to dressing a bump… but I think it’s easier to do in the summer vs. the fall and winter. Dresses are so easy to throw on, look chic, and most importantly stay cool! Good luck with your pregnancy:)
This is such a lovely dress and I love the accessories you’ve paired with it! Having comfy undergarments are so important, as it does affect one’s confidence b/c it can also effect the way the clothes look and fit! I can imagine how even more so, when pregnant! Thanks so much for sharing, girlie, and I hope you have a wonderful weekend!

You look absolutely fabulous. I can’t yet fully understand the feelings that go along with your body changing during pregnancy but I’d imagine that when the body you’re used to and comfortable with starts changing at such a rapid pace it brings up a lot of emotions! I hope you continue to keep away from putting pressure on yourself…you have a a miraculous human life growing bigger inside of you every day and are still managing to look stylish and pulled together. Both are cause for serious celebration and admiration!
But you look so lovely with your bump! And for some who’s never been pregnant I can only imagine that it must be so weird that your body is not only yours any longer. But I think you’re styling the bump lovely, always bringing chic outfits! Xx
