PRETTY IN PEARLS

Now that fall is in full swing here in Chicago and the weather has finally shifted, I have broken out my sweaters and tights. I’ve recently found these super soft sweaters from the Gap and stocked up in honestly every color. They fit perfectly and a great go-to when mixing and matching styles for work.

I paired my turtleneck sweater with a fun suede skirt from Forever21 {similar styles here, here + here}, these black booties, and a new edgy clutch from Venus. I chose these chevron tights to add a bit of texture to my look. A brand I’ve come to know and love is Hanes. They have a bunch of different styles + colors to choose from to hold you through the winter.

My most elegant piece on would have to be this beautiful pearl necklace from the Laguna Pearl Company. I am normally not the pearl kind of girl, but decided that a classic freshwater pearl style would be the route to go for me. I love how it really polished off my outfit and added sophistication at the same time. Classic pieces are always great investments that can help solidify a wardrobe. I find this outfit to be perfect for Thanksgiving dinner.

Love this outfit!! You look beautiful! Those tights are amazing too. I have a few pairs of patterned tights and I love them. My mom gave me and my sister pearls when we turned 16 because my grandma gave them to her when she turned 16. They are timeless. 🙂
