PLAYING WITH PLAID

A pattern I tend to gravitate towards during these cooler months is plaid. It’s a cozy checkered print that can add a pop to any outfit. I have a few plaid scarves that can double as capes, ponchos, and more recently belted in the front {as shown below}.

This fun scarf is only $12 {from ROMWE} and has 2 different patterns to style. One side is more of a red + blue print, while the other is black + white, which creates endless possibilities of ways to style it.

Today I belted it and paired it with some flared denim {love the brand Blank Denim}, a Uniqlo sweater {which is now on SALE and comes in a million different colors}, some brown booties {old, but similar styles here, here + here}, and a brown tote {similar styles here + here}.

Speaking of Uniqlo, this week it is opening in Chicago on Michigan Avenue and I can’t wait! They have so many great basics {like sweaters, dresses, cute tops, and amazing outerwear}, that come in a million different colors. Be sure to check it out this weekend!
