A few weeks ago I was lucky enough to be chosen to host a part on The Odyssey. I invited some close friends including blogger pals Peggy, Monica, Jamie, and Jill for a sunset dinner cruise along Lake Michigan. Let me tell you…I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect night! The weather, views, and company were all on point.
We started on the rooftop deck with lots of passed appetizers and fun summer cocktails. My yacht squad and I were able to watch the beautiful sunset over the water, which was absolutely breathtaking. Chicago really knows how to do summer 🙂 .
After watching the sunset, we headed down for a fabulous sit-down dinner {including a personalized dessert}. The Odyssey really pulled out the red carpet for us and made us feel like yacht stars. They created the cutest props and I even had my very own ice sculpture! I was absolutely blown away! The crew + staff were wonderful and we even had our own personal DJ playing music throughout the night.
I can’t think of a better way to spend a Friday evening. Can you? The Odyssey {as well as their other lines like Spirit + Mystic Blue} all have lots of amazing options for both daytime and nighttime cruises. My friend Lauren chose the brunch option and it looked like she had an absolutely amazing time! I’m always on board for a boat ride and it would be the perfect choice for any birthday, anniversary, or engagement party, OR even just a fun summer soiree with friends!
Below are some pictures taken by both The Odyssey and my friend Peggy. To see some more behind the scene snaps, click on over to our Instagram hashtag #gcgyachtparty for some yacht squad close ups. We had such amazing props with the most adorable sayings like: “drop it like it’s yacht” and “I like big boats and I cannot lie”. Thanks again Odyssey! We had a blast and you made our summer in Chicago spectacular!
What am I wearing you ask?
