TRENCH COAT TRANSITION

I don’t know about you, but these warmer temps this week have been simply fantastic. I was able to ditch my puffy winter coat and opt for a lighter, more structured trench. I picked up this one recently at Banana Republic and love the black leather piped detail. I paired it with some distressed denim {from the Gap who btw is having a 40% off everything sale with code FFCARD}, and a new everyday satchel that I got from Shopbop last week during their sale. I also added an unexpected surprise by mixing prints with this floral sweater from J.Crew and some leopard pumps. Have a fabulous weekend everyone and thanks so much for following along 😉 .

    I’ve been wanting to try those jeans for awhile now, but I’m not sure if I can pull off the high rise!! Maybe I just need to go try them on and get over myself 😉 haha that trench couldn’t be more perfect for spring!

      I say go for it! They are pretty true to size and have a stretchy feel to them so they are super comfortable. Also Gap always has great sales (I got mine for 40% off). I’ve been looking for a black pair of distressed denim for awhile and was super happy when I found these ;-).

    Your outfit looks amazing, Samantha! The weather in New York has finally calmed down a bit and it’s stopped snowing all the time. It’s definitely not anywhere near trench coat whether yet though. I’ll be living vicariously through the beautiful weather in Chicago in the meantime!
