This past weekend I had the chance to hang out with one of my favorite fashion bloggers Peggy of Hallways Are My Runways. We talked about fall trends, where to find the best burger in town, and our love for the color burgundy. Check out some pictures and an interview with Peggy below.
Also I am super excited to be participating in Lindsay’s WearingLit series. Check out what book I chose and the post here.
1. WHAT MADE YOU WANT TO START A BLOG?
I have always been interested in style and wanted a way to express my own personal style as it evolved.
2. HOW DID YOU COME UP WITH THE NAME HALLWAYS ARE MY RUNWAYS?
I’m a reading specialist and the hallways that I walk through everyday at school are my personal runways.
3. WHAT ARE SOME OF YOUR FAVORITE STORES AND RESTAURANTS IN CHICAGO?
For stores: The Fig Tree is perfect for gift giving and Moon Voyage for unique pieces and the latest trends.
For restaurants: I like Two with their ever-changing menu and Au Cheval because they have great burgers with eggs on them.
4. HOW WOULD YOU DESCRIBE YOUR STYLE?
My style is unique, eclectic, and evolving.
5. WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE TREND FOR FALL?
Fringe, wide brim hats and burgundy of course!
