The other day I tried a fun new french bakery in the Gold Coast called Le Pain Quotidien. What attracted me to this restaurant was their extensive menu that featured an array of breakfast items, quiches, tartines, salads, and desserts (pastries!). They had a variety of organic items (my fave) that you could either enjoy in their restaurant or take-away from their bakery section. I chose to eat in the restaurant area that had a combination of small tables, a communal table, and an outdoor area. Check out what my mom and I ate below:
// VEGETABLE QUICHE //
// GRILLED CHICKEN COBB SALAD //
// THE BAKERY //
I thought the atmosphere was warm + inviting. The open-faced sandwiches (tartines) looked amaze and I can’t wait to go back and try the roasted turkey & avocado one. Make sure to check out this fabulous french bakery that currently has three locations: the Gold Coast (10 East Delaware Place), the West Loop (135 North Clinton Street), and Lincoln Park (1000 West Armitage Avenue). Bon appetit!
Everything looks heavenly!
